OMG! You are fast! Did you toe up or top down? I started top down 2 at a time but don't like the yarn I chose, I'm going to rip and start with red. They look great!
I actually made them toeup although I never do otherwise. Took me a while to figure out the Turkish cast on. Don´t know if I am fast though *hehe* I just knit every second I can. If I didn´t have to kids they would have been finished last sunday. But kids need food and hugs ;-) That slowed me down a bit *haha* And I had a great job, I knit on my breaks ;-)But tomorrow is the last day there, starting a new one on monday, don´t know if I can knit as much after that, We will see. Thank You ALL for the comments :-)
Super!! I knit on my lunch hour at work and any other free minute that I can squeeze in, including while parked in front of the TV in the evenings. :-)
I'm on sock number 1 and I just started the gusset increases. Will they be done by month-end? maybe -------
I'm doing 2 at once toe up and just turned the heels. Am finishing up the gusset-gobbling on sock #2 and almost ready to start the legs. I'm using self-striping yarn--not my first choice, but I'm on the road and it's the best I had. They are turning out better than I though they would.
I've dyed the yarn for mine & have the toe increases done...Was further along on sock #1 then realized I'd droped a YO and had to rip back :(...I'd be much further if my kids weren't so young. (almost 4, almost 2 & almost 3 mo) Your socks look great & I plan on knitting some more on mine today!
Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! And I haven't even cast on yet! :)
