Everyone's April are SO cute! I ended up frogging mine about halfway through when I realized I wasn't having fun anymore. The problems I had were nobody's fault but my own. First of all, the yarn I chose, Maizie, split like crazy every time I picked it up to do the psso's. Second, I was working my usual two-at-a-time on 2 circs, and was stopping at the end of every half-round to untangle the four skeins of yarn. I will make these socks again, but will choose a different yarn and either do them one at a time or just use one color. Looking forward to May.
I pretty much did the same thing; I got started late and then didn't like the yarn and how it was knitting up. Can't wait to see what May brings us!
ReplyDeleteI finally got Anni's stuff for the prize--the volcano problem delayed things a little. I'll get it all sent out Monday. You're going to love it!
ReplyDeleteI love the concept of knitting 2 at time on 2 circs. I've tried and I went crazy so I can imagine 4 skeins going on a the same time.
