They're Coming Along :)...

I have a feeling I won't make it for the end of October, just a few too many projects on the needles right now.

This is where I'm at today - starting the second sock now, as I seem to be just ploughing through my yarn! I didn't realize how prominently this would stripe until I got a couple inches in - it seems OK with the pattern so far...

August Socks Are Done!

Just cast off the second sock :). I loved this pattern. It was easy to remember - great for knitting on my morning commute to work, and I enjoyed knitting with the J. Knits yarn. The colours are some of my favourites and the varigation was great - not too stripey, not too "pooley".

Looking forward to seeing more of the groups' socks - there are some great ideas happening here :).

August Sock So Far...

Just wanted to check in and say hello - I am new to the knitalong. I am thoroughly enjoying the August sock and thought I would share my progress - this is sock #1 completed and sock #2 as of this AM (Monday). The pattern flows beautifully and I am so happy with this yarn - it's soft and fine, and combines some of my favourite colours.

Thank you Anni, I'm so glad you had room for another member - I'm already planning to use this pattern again :).
