Get Fruity - Upside Down

When I first saw the name for these socks I thought of Froot Loops and found the fruitiest, loopiest yarn I had. It's some color of OnLine that I had in the bottom of the stash and in person they're quite frooty.

Love the pattern. Of course I did it toe up, and also changed the heel - short row heels just don't fit me well.

Thanks Anni! Can't wait for next month.

I like the heel that you used. I didn't know a different heel can be used with toe up. So far all the toe up has used the short row heel. Will have to looke through Ravelry database for examples.

I almost always use the toe-up hells in Cat Bordhi's book "Socks Soar on Two Circular Needles."One great thing she taught me was to start the heel stitch way before you turn the heel--i start it when i start increasing for the gusset. that way, the bottom of the heel/foot is reinforced. That's where I wear out my socks, not the heel "flap" part.
