A small boo-boo in the pattern

I just was made aware of a small mistake in the heel.  I fixed the numbers and uploaded the corrected pattern to the Google group.  I see that some of you just passed right over it, but some of you may be stuck at that point.  The correction makes it a little clearer :o)

ERRATA

Hi,

I've finished e-mailing out the February pattern now. However as usual there was a long list of mail delivery failure notifications that came in return, so if you didn't get it please e-mail us.

There is an error in the chart for the leg. I checked the charts so many times this time on different days to avoid errors but there is an error on row 17 of the chart on the leg. The last 2 stitches should be k2tog, yo. I can't send any more e-mails now as I've reached the quota for the e-mail account but I'll send out replacement charts as soon as I can.

On Row 19 of the leg chart there is '&' in one of the squares. This should be '^' which is SK2PO. Not sure how the '&' managed to sneak in there.

I'm so sorry for these two tiny errors. It's a pain with charts. I knitted from them and I went through them with a fine tooth comb several times before sending it out.

Good luck everyone.

NEW YEAR SOCKS - ERRATA

Please check out the errata to the sock pattern posted in the sidebar. I'm sorry if htis mucks up your socks if you've already started. I only realised it was an error when I was reading some of the posts this morning. Instead of starting the socks off on k2, p2 rib, do p2, k2 rib as this will line the rib up with the drop stitch rib on the chart. If you've discovered the error and gotten around it by working the chart from left to right instead of right to left, don't worry too much but just double check what you're doing when you get to the heel to make sure the pattern lines up properly across the instep and top of the foot. Let me know if there are any problems.

Think this was one of those 'typing on auto-pilot' problems as it' normal to write instructions for rib starting with the knit stitches. Hope it hasn't caused any huge problems for anyone.

Heel turn on top down socks - Any problems?

Anyone worked the heel turn on the top down socks yet? One member is having problems and I'm just wondering if anyone else is having problems getting the heel turn to work correctly as it's written.

I'm test knitting it later just in case, but if you have noticed an error (or notice any other errors in the pattens) please let me know. I do check them very carefully but it's so easy with all the abbreviatons and numbers for a typo to sneak in.
