I thought I would post a picture of my sock in progress. I am just finished with the heel and gusset. I plan to rip it out after posting it. I mistakenly bought worsted weight yarn so it is too heavy. I also am not very good at color work. I don't know how to space the yarn so the white stitches don't disappear when I put the sock on. I don't like all the yarn inside the sock. And it is very difficult to put on. So...I plan to buy a book, Color Knitting, when it comes out and learn how to do color work. I sure did like the color patterns knitted into the sock. I only wish I knew the correct techniques to make it work.

I think your snowflake came out really nice! I couldn't get my tension right.
It looks really nice! But I understand the troubles with colourwork...I had the same problem with mine! It's hard to get the tension right. But now I'm working on a pair of mittens, and"practise makes perfect"-LOL- they look much nicer than the socks!
They look lovely. Looking forward to seeing your finished socks. I found a very helpful online tutorial through http://www.philosopherswool.com/Pages/Streamingvideo.htm
