...my "really snowy here" socks...

Done! I bought the yarn last Tuesday, and cast on late that night, and they were done on Sunday. Quick and fun. Yarn: DSA sterk , 40%alpakka,40%merinowool,20%nylon. 50grams=137meters.

Needles: circular 3mm (magic loop, both at the same time) for the plain knitting, DPN's, 4mm,(one by one) for the colourwork.

Gauge: 22 sts=10cm for the fairisle, 26sts=10cm on 3mm for the foot. And they are still too small for me...

Really cute pattern, and the yarn is so soft!
I have a plan to knit both mittens and a hat to go with this, think it will be a great giftset.

Thanks again for a great pattern, Tama:-)

OOoooo! Very nice! You have to post your set when you finish it so I can see it. I love the "fur" background for the socks also! Very snowy and cold here also!

So pretty.
I am just about finished with my pair. Working on two circulars. No. 2 for ankle, No.1 for foot. Fit is perfect. Once I learned two handed stranding, working with colors became so much easier and less worry about the size being too small due to the yarns being carried in the back.

Love the colors! they look beautiful. Wow! You're a fast knitter. I'm still struggling with knitting with 2 colors.
