I used Patons Kroy Sock yarn in "Chelsea Tweed" and KnitPicks Bare superwash sock yarn. I love the tweed yarn. It doesn't really show up very well in the picture, but the colors are the same as when you look down into deep fresh water lakes--there are dark green and dark blue lines with whitish light blue sunbeams that stream down through the water. Really gorgeous color!When I make them next time--when I have more time--I intend to carry the pattern all the way down the foot and add a traditional Norwegian toe and sole pattern to it.
