I did finally finish my July socks on August 4th just four days short of the contest cut off!
These are a gift that must be given in early September so I'm happy to be done and them nicely blocking away.
I think it took me so long for two reasons:
1. They are size 11.
2. Cabling slowed me up until a friend showed me how to do it without the cable needle. It was still slower than other patterns but I sped up much more after I got the hang of that.
I used some pretty hand-dyed green yarn from Laughing Rat Studios from Etsy.
Here they are!
Onto the August socks which I will definitely finish in August! It's a great pattern yet again Anni and I just wanted to say thank you!!! I am so thankful to be included in this KAL. Your patterns rock and it's great to be so productive! So, thank you!!!

They're beautiful and for doing a size 11 you've done really well. The cables slowed me down too. I've still not finished my 2nd one. Ooops.
