Oh dear!I joined this party in July and I was a-feared that I could never get a pair of socks done in 31 days and now here is the proof of my self-fulfilled prophecy!!! I tried, Oh! How I tried! I had to start this 4 times, ( the toe up thingy, messed up pattern, wrong yarn, not enough yarn.) Finally came together and I was getting the gest of the pattern, a few crossed over cables here and there, but then I DID memorize it and could work 'paperless' but still, no sockies. Just this sad, half finished one and now a new pattern coming down the pike to mock me . *sigh* Well, at least when that nuclear winter kicks in I will have lots of socks to knit partners for.......
