I finished my May day socks today. Great pattern, very nice result with self striping yarn! I will use this pattern again, for sure.
For these socks I used Opal wool/cotton, nld 2,5.

Love 'em! I'm doing the same pattern. Hope to finish in the next couple of days.
That is soo funny. I am using that same yarn (bought 2 yrs ago) to make this month's jungle socks. :) NICE choice. the pattern shows well.
It's always great to find a pattern that will look so pretty with my wacky glut of self striping socks.
this pattern was perfect! Its alway so hard to find patterns that will work well with self striping yarn.
