I'm new here and i just got my first pattern today and i was so happy to start because it so pretty and it will be my 1 Pair of socks(i don't count the 1 pair that i am making for my dh,they are only boot socks) but my yarn sticks to my crappy bamboo needles!!I need some great lightweight something other then this bamboo needles!
Now i just need to get online and find some cheap dpn.

Sometimes you just have to take some wax paper or fine sandpaper and smooth out the needles. It might work until you can get some new dpns!

Glad you got your dpns sorted Maria. I used to love bamboo needles for socks but now I prefer metal ones, specifically Boyes dpns and Hiya Hiya needles dpns. They glide realy easily and make the knitting so much quicker. Good luck with the socks.
