November Ripples Socks are done!

O.K. second try. Blogger swallowed my first post. :o)
Since I had no time to knit socks in October, I was quite sock knitting starved, and bounced on this pattern. I did some modifications to fit my feet and need! The obvious one is, that I did the ripples only on the leg part. I choose the option without purl rows, except for the first repeat. I used 2.5mm needles for the first 4 repeats, and changed to 2.25mm for the rest of the socks. I decreased to 60 stitches for the foot, and now they fit perfectly! I'm very happy with them, they will be worn a lot. Of course orange is one of my favorite colors. The yarn is Trekking XXL # 145.
Happy knitting, and thanks for the pattern, Anni!

Monika

PS: I wanted to show you how beautiful this stitch pattern is, when on the legs! I'm wearing them today, and I love them!

Wow they look amazing, Monika! And the pic of them on your feet really shows up the pattern - I think I might do the version without purl too if they look as good as this!

They are just gorgeous! That colourway is fantastic with the pattern. I'm jealous now. Was considering to do this version but then decided to do the purl version but this most certainly needs to be tried out as well...

Those are great! I am doing mine without the purl as well--I just prefer not to have ridges in my sock. I just turned the heel and was trying to decide if I wanted a patterned foot or a plain one--yours look so nice, I may go with plain as well! :-)
